The initial inspiration behind the project, again, builds on the more traditional furniture that utilises simple construction methods and ways of assembly. The wooden A-frame combined with the folded metal shelf units makes up a secure structure without the need for any fixings or tools’, meaning the structure is easy to assemble and take apart. The shelving units slide on to the two frames until they drop to a level where they wedge tight; thus securing a rigid structure. The shelves are easily accessed from both sides and intended as a freestanding unit and a room divider.
